The Mentorship Program will connect junior lawyers with experienced lawyers in relevant areas of law. We will try to facilitate mentoring relationships for lawyers unable to obtain advice from a more senior lawyer.
Mentors shall provide mentees with support in the area of practice management, including topics such as work-life balance, dealing with clients, dealing with opposing counsel, and learning the business side of law.
Mentors should be willing and able to provide mentees with knowledge and skills gained through their experience. Matching will be performed by DRLA's Mentorship Committee members. All applications will be kept confidential and used for the purpose of the program.
Mentors and Mentees can benefit and earn up to 6 Continuing Professional Hours (CPD) every year. An application must be made to the Law Society at least 30 days in advance of the session.
Who can be a Mentor?
